Gallup Park River Cleanup
We got the call on a Thursday morning for a last-minute weekend river cleanup at Gallup Park. The organizer was frantic—their usual supplier had backed out, and they had over a hundred volunteers arriving in 48 hours. I could hear the stress in her voice; without proper facilities spread across that park, the whole event would've been a mess.
Our crew pulled two of our newer, high-capacity porta potties off a construction site downtown and rerouted them. We had them delivered, set up, and serviced along the main trailhead by Friday afternoon. The event went off without a hitch, and the organizer told us she could finally breathe easy knowing her volunteers were taken care of.
Tree Town had us covered right on the riverbank, and it made the whole day run smoothly.
